Digital democracy: A systematic literature review

Digital democracy provides a new space for community involvement in democratic life. This study aims to conduct systematic literature review uncover the trend of concepts digital democracy. used descriptive analysis with data sources derived from Scopus database period between 2014 and 2020 (a total 230 articles) processed VOSviewer. The results showed three dominant concepts, namely democracy, internet, movement. In addition, it was found that era positive negative impacts on public knowledge quality is important, there strong elite control virtual this research can be as basis developing studies. Meanwhile, limited by fact articles reviewed were only sourced did not include publications 2022. Therefore, future studies need take comparative approach uses Web Science (WoS) increases time which are sourced.
